SHORT SYNOPSIS

Growing up, Stacey Sargison had a secret desire: to be listed among the greats as a world record holder.

After two cancer scares & painfully letting down her mum by choosing work over family, Stacey turned her back on her dream Hollywood career to work for herself.

A brutal divorce was the final straw, and finding herself on the brink of survival during her “dark night of the soul”-

Stacey decided to finally rise up chase her childhood dream; becoming the first person to set a world record for female entrepreneurship, supporting Make a Wish Foundation & impacting hundreds of thousands of people.

Rose Davis is a visionary filmmaker whose journey began 25 years ago in the dark room. She has a deep interest in humanity and compassion driven storytelling. 

Rose is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a person living with multiple disabilities.

Tasmanian Mum of 3, she strives to show her children how to lean on your superpowers & produce world class work.

director statement

As a creative obsessed with the humanity behind the way excellence is produced - I combined simple interview style storytelling with cinematic beauty scenes to immerse the viewer in the truest paradox of life; that even in our darkest moments there is both beauty and opportunity to be found.

I structured this film to demonstrate how any person can go from rags, to riches, again to rags, and back to riches - all of which can hinge on something as mundane as discovering £2.20 in a forgotten handbag.

I hope to leave the audience with a taste of how powerful it is to push oneself to an international degree, to take the risk of including global communities in your own quest for greatness, and to include deeper meaning into your actions - as you never know whose life you will change with your next, seemingly tiny decision.
